Who’s Who recognizes 20 Huntington University seniors


HUNTINGTON, Ind.— Twenty Huntington University students have been included in the 2012 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory have included the names of these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

These seniors join an elite group of students from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.

Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.

The following students were recognized:

  • Alysse Perez, a senior elementary education major from Holland, Mich.
  • Brita Kuiper, a senior nursing major from Bellevue, Mich.
  • Ellen Wolf, a senior elementary education major from Huntington, Ind.
  • Haley Neiderhiser, a senior youth ministries major from Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • Jonathan Brenneman, a senior history and philosophy major from St. Marys, Ohio
  • Jameel Brenneman, a senior broadcasting major from St. Marys, Ohio
  • Julie Manges, a senior psychology and sociology major from Bremen, Ind.
  • Katie Eder, a senior animation major from Onsted, Mich.
  • Katie Martin, a senior elementary and middle grades education double major from Eaton, Ohio
  • Kristopher Burgess, a senior history major from Loveland, Ohio
  • Luke Brenneman, a senior sociology major from Spencerville, Ohio
  • Miles Allen, a senior film production major from Roscoe, Ill.
  • Nicole Schanke, a senior biology major from Trenton, Ohio
  • Bob Hindy, a senior computer science major from Fowlerville, Mich.
  • Ryan Morris, a senior missions major from Syracuse, Ind.
  • Ryan Schnurr, a senior broadcasting, communication studies and film studies triple major from Fort Wayne, Ind.
  • Sarah Johnson, a senior journalism and English major from Davenport, Iowa
  • Sarah Martindale, a senior public relations major from Pomeroy, Ohio
  • Sean Cruse, a senior animation major from Melville, NY
  • Shelly Bradbury, a senior journalism major from Houghton, NY
