Mike Jones is Farm Credit Mid-America’s visiting instructor in ag education at Huntington University. As a part of the Haupert Institute for Agricultural Studies, Mike teaches AG 131, Construction and Maintenance, which is a required course for agricultural education majors. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in ag education from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also holds a Certified Production Technician (CPT) 4.0 certification from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC).

With more than two decades of ag teaching experience, most of that time spent at Adams Central High School, Mike is the president of the Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators (IAAE). His favorite classes to teach are agricultural power and animal science. He has been a Top 8 Honoree for a Golden Owl Award multiple times.
